Once upon a time, a gentle, sweet dove - the universal harbinger of peace - nestled contentedly among other ornamentation within the verdant evergreen of my yuletide tree. Yet fear not! To those of us who believe, Christmas is a season of hope!
For it is written in the holy book that one day "the tiger shall lay down with the lamb."
(loosely translated from Isaiah 11:6)
Meow-y Christmas, everyone!
Are you trying to tell me that that beautiful orange creature harmed the dove? No! I don't believe you -- was probably just grooming it! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteHe's just doing what he's programmed to do, but how sad! Funny enough, it was our orange cat who brought us the most "gifts" out of our three cats. Something funny about those guys...
ReplyDeleteCats truly do rule the internet! I could not resist this post :) Poor dove! lol
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure your blog title had a typo, but no! Gah! Poor dove.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now that was funny as long as it is at your house with your ornaments. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!

ReplyDeleteLol!! And I think that is the first time I have seen more than a glimpse of Mickey :) cute post!!
ReplyDeleteWe are quite lucky that none of our pets even notice the decorations. Thank you for sharing your kitty tale with Make It Monday.
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's funny!
